Former Dukes Of Hazard actor Ben Jones, who played Cooter on the show, is upset with the level of profanity and sexual content in the film remake of the series which is set to be released in a few weeks. He considers the new movie to be “a sleazy insult” to those involved with the original show and wants fans to take a pass on the new version. CNN has the AP story here. Am I the only one who finds it just a wee bit ironic that a guy who made a name for himself playing a character named ‘Cooter’ is disturbed by a little sexual content? One has to wonder what fellow TV actors Jerry ‘Beaver’ Mathers and Vincent ‘Big Pussy’ Pastore think about this controversy…
